The Polk Audio db1222 dual 12-inch enclosure is perfect for out-of-this-world bass! Huge power handling and the front loaded slot port provides thunderous bass and allows greater air displacement then round port designs. The extensively braced trapezoidal MDF enclosure eliminates performance-robbi ng box flex. Nickel plated heavy duty Input terminals accommodate speaker wire up to 8 AWG or twisted pairs of 12 AWG. Klippel optimized components, using a state-of-the-art Klippel Distortion Analyzer, Polk engineers were able to optimize the woofer's motor structure, voice coil alignment and suspension for the best possible performance, even at extreme listening levels. The db Series subwoofer speakers produce gutsy bass in sealed, ported and band pass enclosures. No matter how you like your bass, you get the tight, musical loud bass that db is known for.
